This is my new redesigning of the Man Reaper Fiends for my PEACE KEEPERS story :mib:. I looked at my last concept and I didnt realy like it much because it didnt look scary enough and it didnt fit in with the stories dark post apocoliptic environmental appearance so I desided to redesign it and based off of HR Gigers Xenomorphs and the Zerg from Star Craft. Before designing some thing completely original I believe that it is more convienient to start designing things from already known sources so thus equals the Man Reapers familier appearance. I will most likely redesign the Man Reaper again in the near future and try to give it a more differant appearance that wont be as familier as the one you see hear now. This was drawn as some thing to get me use to drawing scary looking monsters, there are seviral other Fiends that I have thaught up of. As far as I can tell I am getting better at it so soon ile be able to wip out perfect monsters any time, now the big problem is giving them a good sense of motion and thinking up of proper movments that will fit in with there body design.
If any of you have any sugestions or any ideas for me then I am open to your thaughts and ideas.

Fiend Name: Man Reaper

Basic Information: Man Reapers are mostly hunters that apear in small groups and are found in the sewers, undercities and service tunnles of common non utopian colonies. There numbers are massive and they can almost never be all wiped out for there numbers are consintly reinforced as long as they are able to hunt humans at night. Being relitavly week and lacking human like intelect, they are considerably easy to kill and are held back by the Colonial Protectorate that inhabits every non utopian colony. But when being led by a Greater Fiend they can become a hive inteligence and thus become a major threat to the colony until the Greater Fiend leading them is killed.

Species: There are three known species of Man Reapers, guards, hunter killers (the one you see before you), and knavelers. The guards are enormous elephant sized armored fiends who wield enormous syth blades, hide in large areas around service tunnle intersections or gates and ambush any colonial residence that might be passing by. (you come to them, they dont come to you) The gaurds are possibly the hardest to kill out of all three spiecies, there armored exosceleton and tough hide gives them immunity against all small arms fire and good protection against explosives. With there powerful legs and the aid of an organic jet pack the Gaurds can jump across long distances, and there syth blades can cut threw layers of hard steel and rock, making them hard to stop, even inside a narrow corridor. There down side is that there size and armor makes them slower and makes it harder for them to navigate within undercity corridors so they usualy leave behind cave in's or tunnels of sliced rock and metal threw seviral floors of undercity, making them easy to avoid or track down.
Knavelers on the other hand are small quick unarmored fleshy fiends that can scale across walls and make cordinated hunts that almost always bring back fresh bodies to feed on. There attacks are offten unseen and often lead far out into the colonies streets that are heavly patrolled by the Coloniel Protectorate. They may not be an easy target but there fleshy bodies make them generaly easy to kill. There power lies within there cunning, stealth, numbers and corrdination, Knavelers are rarely ever seen alone or out in the open. They can be compared to a pack of savage wolves or a group of cunning killers. The reason that they are called Knavlers is because of the large touthy grin they carry, it reminded the first Coloial Protectorate troopers of the phsycopathic villans from classic cartoons that they saw as kids before earth was left uninhabitable. Even though such things no longer exist 200 years later, the name still sticks with them.
Hunter Killers are the most common of all Man Reapers, they travel in groups of three, are a little taller then a normal human and posses a mind more closer to human intelegence then the others. Like the Knavelers, they are able to make cordinated attacks and go beyond the boarders of the undercities, but are also gifted with compacted streched outer tendons that act as armored plateing, making them harder to kill. Under there armored plateing is muscle and even more tendons that act as springs to make there movments faster. They dont go for random targets like the other two do, they hunt specific targets such as Coloniel Protectorate troopers and service tunnel transports. Hunter Killlers are also able to regenerate much quicker and have been known to run away from fighting so they can live longer. On there backs the Hunter Killers have an extra two syth arms that are used to hang on cielings and act as an alternitave weapon if there arms are dismembered. To asses the danger of man reapers the Coloniel Protectorate sends out nightly patrolls and issues bounties on them so that bounty hunters can help out too. But when a mass of man reapers are led by a Greater Fiend the CMC or the Peace Keepers are called in to eradicate them.

The Virus: The source of there numbers are the humans them sevles. When the Man Reapers hunt they dont always kill there prey, but instead they some times inject them with a retro virus that slowly turns there prey into one of them. This virus is carried inside the claws of there fingered hands, it is injected in very small amounts and takes about 3 hours to take effect so the person infected has time to recieve the anti virus from there local coloial hospital. The anti virus is also carried by Coloniel Protectorate officers. But if an infected doesnt get the anti virus in time then they will suffer a painful metamorphasis into a Reapling which is a juvinial Man Reaper. In this juvinial stage the Reapling is a crazed rotting corps of two battleing minds that seeks to hide some wear to perminently rid its self of the last bit of human personality left inside. When the human within is killed the Reaplings body stops decaying and starts to take on the shape of the Man Reaper that infected it but needs blood to complete its metamorphasis so it hunts out small animals until it completes its full transformation. This way of increasing numbers is limeted by gender, it only applies to males. (in basic sense, if your a guy then you suffer the agony of turning into one of them, if your a girl then your fresh meat)

But your other stuff is really neat and awesome :)
